Water Woes

In the interview with forecaster, James Benjamin, he discusses the impact of drastic climate-related changes on basic resources like food and water. He shares: “People will figure out that climate change is, to a good extent, a natural phenomenon. What we have to do is not try to change the entire climate, but to work with it. If climate change drastically changes the way we raise food…certain foods are perhaps going to be eliminated”.

As someone from the Global South, I see firsthand that the effects of climate change are felt more severely in developing nations. There is also a massive disparity in access to technology and resources between these nations and developed countries. While some individuals may have access to high-speed internet and smart devices, they often lack basic necessities like clean water and sanitation. Countries in South Asia, such as India, are among the regions most affected by the climate crisis.
